Cultivation Technician

Caprica produces high quality medicinal cannabis in a state-of-the-art GMP-accredited cannabis cultivation and production facility in Jersey. Cultivation and post-harvest production activities are conducted under tightly controlled conditions to ensure high quality and consistency across batches. 

This exciting and varied role involves working part of the small team responsible for cultivating and processing medicinal cannabis in a highly controlled cleanroom environment. 

• Daily cultivation tasks including watering, pruning, transplanting, harvesting and waste removal.
• Undertaking daily maintenance and deep cleaning tasks between growing cycles as part of the Integrated Pest Management Strategy.
• Conducting and recording daily plant and environmental records.
• Executing all required tasks according to the relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and line manager’s instructions.
• Undertaking monthly production tasks including bucking, trimming and packing product.
• Assisting the Quality Manager in refining SOPs.
• External site maintenance tasks including branchage and strimming tasks. 
• Ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Master Grower. 

Experience of working in agriculture, greenhouse or cultivation industry is desirable.

• Ability to speak, understand and read English
• Basic computer skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Role requires Enhanced DBS (Disclosure & Barring Services) Clearance
• References
• Five years residency is NOT required but applicants must be registered to live and work in Jersey
