Head of Information Security

An experienced professional is required to lead and manage a high-performing Information Security team, overseeing the protection of internal and client data and infrastructure.

The role involves shaping and executing comprehensive security strategies, managing service delivery, and supporting client consultancy engagements. Key responsibilities include team leadership, security solution implementation, policy development, risk assessments, breach investigations, and client communications. The position also requires driving the evolution of managed service offerings and ensuring regulatory compliance with standards such as GDPR and ISO 27001.

Candidates should have a minimum of five years’ experience in Cyber Security or IT security, a strong understanding of risk management, and proven leadership skills. Excellent communication, organisational ability, and a client-focused mindset are essential. Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred but not required. This is a primarily management-focused role, but some hands-on technical support and consultancy will also be expected.
