The Position
An exciting opportuinity to work on funds with investments in the growing Renewable Energy Sector. This large financial service business who delivers specialist, tech-enabled solutions for their clients is seeking an experienced professional to work in their Guernsey office but support their Fund Accounting team in Jersey.
The Responsibilities
This is a senior position requiring an ACA or ACCA qualified person with excellent technical knowledge and understanding of current accounting standards, particularly IFRS and UK GAAP. The role will involve working on funds with investments in the growing Renewable Energy Sector. The investments include Windfarms, Solar Farms and Biomass Power Plants.
Experience / Qualifications / Education
Candidates should have 4-5 years post qualified experience, solid and pragmatic accounting skills and technical accounting knowledge, excellent presentational, written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
